About 12 years ago, Ernie was at a then popular restaurant in the Pittsburgh area. They were famous for their ribs. At that time, Ernie had baby back ribs for the first time. He liked them so much that he made a vow to learn to make ribs as good as, or better than the ones he had that night.

     Needless to say, that didn’t happen suddenly. Actually, the first batch of ribs he made went into the garbage. After a lot of trial and error, Ernie accomplished his goal. In doing so, he came up with a sauce of his own. He has been making his sauce for approximately 10 years.

     After a lot of encouragement from family and friends, Ernie decided to market his sauce, sharing it with everyone.
